Memorial Weekend 2008

This Memorial Day we went to Papa Doug's cabin for some fishing and to spend some time in the water. Sunday was the only nice day it was about 75 degrees out. The other two days was rainy and windy. Braden loved fishing with uncle Darin and was lucky enough to catch some fish too. Ava even liked to play with the fish in the bucket. All in all we had a good weekend at the lake.

On Sunday Jason took off Braden's training wheel on his bike. He is doing a very good of keeping upright.

Mother's Day 2008

I had the best Mother's Day, I was able to enjoy the sun and hang out with my kids. I even got tons of photos to scrapbook later.

Here are some photos I took yesterday while we were at the cabin for the first time this summer season. The kids had a blast fishing and playing in the yard. Braden got a new rocket launcher fishing rod, that launches into the water and then lets the hook out. Ava is learning so many things these day and one of her favorite is rolling her toung. Backyard Fun!

Here are some fun photos of the kids I took on Sunday and tonigh. Jason received a swing set from his boss and referbished it and it looks great. Even more the kids enjoy it! Jason also brought home some sand for the sandbox tonight. We are all glad that it is finally summer here in Minnesota. We hope that everyone is doing well.

Busy Week!

On Friday night we drove to Fergus Falls to see Halle at her dance recital. We just made it in time. Halle is the last one on the right hand side.

We decided to take a bike ride before dinner on Wednesday because it was so nice out. Here is Braden and I after we returned home from our bike ride.

Wow! What a week! Last weekend we put up something in the kids rooms and Ava received a double bed.

Today Jason got Braden's old trike down from the garage for Ava. Braden was very excited to hand down his bike to Ava. As you can see by her big smile on her face that she really likes her new bike.
